Minimum fees for Orange County jail signings is $150.00, one signature and maximum one hour of wait and transaction time.
Additional fees for time are as follows: $50 for every 15 minutes thereafter. This fee is for one signature of the incarcerated individual. If additional signatures on multiple documents for same signer it is $15 per notarized signature, and $15 for each additional person’s signature. Saturday fees $200— Sunday fees $250 and Holidays are $300, and only if I am available.
Jail signings usually take a little more time and the price reflects the extra time involved. The loved one of the incarcerated calls me the Notary and requests my services for a particular document to be notarized. I ask how many signatures on the document that need to be notarized, how many different names are on the document, and I give my price.
I have security clearance for all the Orange County Jails, and am able to visit your loved one on any given day of the week, during the daytime hours only. Full payment is required up front before any transaction takes place. If the notarization is unsuccessful for some unforeseen reason, then the signature fees will be refunded only, not the travel and wait time fees.
Although I am more than willing to accommodate your request, please keep in mind all the information stated above before calling me to notarize a document for your incarcerated loved one.
